Laundry Aide - Laundry Services $1,000.00 Sign-on Bonus

**Providence is calling a Laundry Aide (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Laundry Services Department at Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington.**

The Laundry Aide works as part of the Laundry team, sorting soiled linen, washing soiled linen and processing clean linen for distribution to all user departments.

**In this position you will:**

+ Follow established cleaning methods in performing daily duties.

+ Keep all work areas orderly, safe and clean.

+ Remove and properly dispose of specialized waste materials such as sharps infectious or chemotherapeutic.

+ Report broken, damaged, inoperative or unsafe conditions to the Environmental Services Lead / Facilities Supervisor

+ Report any work not done by shift end to immediate supervisor.

+ Accurately reflect the amount of linen delivered to areas on linen sheets.

**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**

+ Previous healthcare experience, particularly in a service department

+ Experience with or training in customer service
