Hotel Front Desk Agent

The Lamplighter Inn & Suites offers warmth and value to all of our guests. We were founded on the philosophy that treating employees fairly would translate into exceptional guest service. We are seeking a dedicated, friendly individual with great customer service skills to join our front desk team. Must be able to multi-task, communicate effectively between management and other team members, and have working computer knowledge.

The position is full-time and will primarily be from 3pm-11pm during the week and weekends.

Principal Duties for Front Desk Agent:
1.Provide excellent customer service to guests.
2.Greet guests, check-in/check-outs, show rooms, etc.
3.Respond to phone, email and in-person inquiries/correspondence
4.Assist with phone, online and in-person reservations
5.Process CC and cash transactions
6.Track room inventories
7.Filing and general office organizational duties
8.Handle guest complaints/problems to exceed the guest expectations

Requirements include:
1.High school diploma or equivalent.
2.Strong customer service experience.
3.Previous hotel experience a plus.
4.Excellent communication skills
5.Nights, weekends, and holiday availability
6.Be reliable and punctual

Starting Pay: $19.00/hour

Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour (with progressive experience)

The pay scale provided is a range that Lamplighter Inn reasonably expects an employee to earn over time as experience increases.
