IHSS Cleaner/Caregiver

My family is looking for someone who needs regular work hours. Our mother is in her eighties and needs help with house cleaning and other light support, like sorting medications, doing laundry, light paperwork, and, if possible, occasional trips to the doctor. She has 25 hours per week to offer, but she doesn't usually need to use all of these but can accommodate if someone needs them. She lives in the Iowa Street Senior Housing and it can be tough to park in the neighborhood. She also has a cat, so this won't work for anyone who is allergic. We are hoping to find someone who is patient and caring who doesn't need a lot of direction. Also, if you are not signed up with IHSS, it's a little bit of a process, but once you are signed up, you get paid retroactively for any work you do before approved. My mom is social but also an introvert, and friendly, and she can be moody at times. She has struggled with alcohol use. She's also on a very tight budget. I believe the pay through IHSS is close to $25 per hour.
