Position Overview\: As a Seasonal Food Runner at Osteria Sierra, you’ll play a vital support role on the restaurant team by ensuring that dishes are delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the guest. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in creating a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities\:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner

• Ensure correct plate presentation and accuracy of guest orders

• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure service efficiency

• Assist with clearing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness of tables and service stations

• Support the service team with water refills, condiments, and guest needs as necessary

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and property standards

• A genuine desire to provide outstanding service in a high-volume environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift and carry trays of food (up to 40 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
