The Chicago Marriott O'Hare is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel restaurant. This role ensures exceptional guest service, manages restaurant staff, upholds brand standards, and assists in achieving revenue and service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Provide excellent guest service by greeting guests, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.
Assist with training, restaurant staff.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food, beverages, and supplies.
Support Restaurant Manager in tracking sales, labor, and cost control.
Lead by example in providing outstanding service and fostering a positive team environment.
Enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to service standards.
Handle opening and closing duties as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and food quality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business coursework a plus.
Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food & beverage, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
