The Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center Infusion Center Concierge offers white glove customer service to our patients and families. Concierge is expected to promote and demonstrate excellent customer service and build meaningful relationships through engaging and informed conversation with Patients and Visitors via face to face interaction. Work may be stressful at times; contact with upset, frustrated or emotional guests requires ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor. This position requires exemplary hospitality skills, knowledge of the local area, and availability to work a flexible schedule.
- Provide uncompromising service to hospital patients and their visitors:
- Promotes and demonstrates excellent customer service:
- Coordinates New Patient Orientations and visits with pet therapy, chaplain, other support services
- Assists in resolving real-time patient concerns & empowerment to make decisions on their own to help a customer; escalate appropriately
- Assists in resolving real-time patient concerns & empowerment to make decisions on their own to help a customer; escalate appropriately
- Liaison for infusion center volunteers, and collaborates regularly with Infusion Center Charge Nurse, Front Desk, and Supportive Care Services teams.
- Coaches other employees on customer service opportunities and escalates concerns promptly to management.
