Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of agency facilities as indicated by the Director of Facilities and Program Manager. This includes but is not limited to cleaning and buffing floors, baths, kitchens, and stoves. Perform basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting, plaster/drywall, light carpentry, light masonry work, landscaping to include snow removal, possible appliance repairs and flooring. Cleaning of high and low dusting areas. Daily cleaning tasks. Inspection and insurance of sanitation and safety standards. Removal of trash. Deep cleaning as needed. Ensure that janitorial supplies and equipment are stocked and always secured. Responsible for the proper use of cleaning products and machinery, with adherence to all applicable safety standards including proper use and update of SDS sheets. Responsible for completing work tasks as assigned by the Director of Facilities and Program Manager. Responsible to adhere to requested schedule and maintain appropriate schedule flexibilities. Record time and attendance via Human Resources Information Systems and Timekeeping system as applicable. Attend meetings/training as requested/required. Adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to maintaining client confidentiality such as HIPAA. Other duties as assigned.
