Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Cleaner to join our growing team. This role will primarily involve cleaning commercial spaces (such as offices, retail spaces, and apartment common areas), with some residential cleanings as needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and enjoys working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, etc.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and office areas
- Handle trash and recycling removal
- Follow checklists and specific client instructions for each job
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, supervisors, and clients
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred but not required (training available)
- Follow directions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass a background check
- Performing cleaning tasks that involve bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and standing for extended periods of time
