Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Host to join our FOH team. The ideal candidate will provide superior customer service while greeting guests as they enter the restaurant and seek to enhance the guest experience during their time at the restaurant. The Host will work closely with the management team to optimize the ambiance, flow, and seating arrangement of the courtyard. Additionally, this position will also work closely with the service staff to maintain an organized account of guests coming in and out of the restaurant, while keeping track of which tables are available and/or need to be cleared. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing guest arrivals, phone calls, emails, and reservations bookings.
Greet guests in a friendly manner, acknowledging any celebrations or specials notes listed on
the reservation (Resy/Open Table).
Monitors guests that are seated and immediately respond to guest needs or request it first
contact.
Maintains complete knowledge of entire menu and hotel history.
Maintains and restocks all food and beverage menus.
Responsible for changing out menus when updates occur with help of the management team.
Maintains the proper supplies for the hostess podium, i.e. iPad, charger, etc., and cleans/dusts
podium.
Actively participates and contributes to pre shift meetings.
Completes opening and closing side work.
Assists service staff in their tasks as it relates to billing, guest requests, or guest information.
Maintains pleasant posture, movement gestures and walking in line with fashion standards and
trends as deemed by management.
Anticipate guests needs and provide service to each guest quickly and accurately advise
manager on duty or GM of any guests complaints.
Update guest notes or preferences in our clienteles POS database.
Bids farewell to guests, using guest name when known, and encouraging them to return.
Any other tasks as assigned

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($19.65) plus tips
