What You’ll Do:
As a Banquet Houseperson , you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero of our events team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Setting up and breaking down banquet rooms for meetings, weddings, and social events
Moving and arranging tables, chairs, linens, and AV equipment according to event diagrams
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas
Assisting banquet servers and event leaders as needed during event.
Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and team members.
What We're Looking For:
A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on teamwork
Ability to lift and move heavy items (tables, chairs, etc.) throughout your shift
Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Previous experience in hospitality or events is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
Where You’ve Been:
We’re looking for someone with at least a high school diploma – any additional certificate in a relevant field is a plus but not required. You have at least two years of experience in hospitality management and at least 1 year working in F & B. Most importantly, you’re someone who can remain calm under pressure all while communicating and coordinating associates in a positive and professional manner.
When You’re Here:
There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
