Primary Purpose

Supervise the campus custodial operations; establish and follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Monitor and direct the work of custodians at assigned campus.
  2. Must take charge of all activities and relay night activities to evening operator.
  3. Help in the scheduling and training of custodians.
  4. Oversee and participate in all custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
  5. Monitor timecards of all custodial employees.
  6. Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from the operations department.
  7. Strive constantly to promote the safety and security of the building.
  8. Be responsible for the general fire safety, health, and comfort of the students and employees.
  9. Strive constantly to promote district energy management and IPM programs.
  10. Perform emergency repairs and cleaning service as necessary.
  11. Perform minor repairs and maintenance as necessary.
  12. Keep building and premises, including sidewalks and driveways, neat and clean at all times.
  13. Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are secured and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
  14. Schedule and participate in the district Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by district Incident Commander.
  15. Be available for after-hours demands.

  24. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
  25. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
  26. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
  27. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
  28. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
  29. Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
