We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and drink orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Prepare tables for dining by sanitizing surfaces and setting up utensils, glassware, and condiments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including resetting tables after guests leave.
Skills
Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experiences.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices within the food industry.
Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest services to create positive dining experiences.
Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Current Foodhandlers/ServSafe and DABS/liquor certification
