OverviewWe’re seeking a highly motivated Banquet Captain to join our Food & Beverage team! This leadership role is responsible for overseeing banquet event setup, service, and teardown, while supporting bartenders, servers, and support staff to ensure seamless execution and outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings with management
- Assign and direct banquet staff during setup, service, and teardown
- Set and break down banquet spaces per BEO specifications
- Assist with buffet setups, decor placement, bar setup, and equipment prep
- Serve and/or bartend during events, monitor floor, and support guest needs
- Act as property liaison to on-site event contacts
- Train and support new team members on service standards
- Ensure cleanliness and reset of spaces for future use
- Maintain cleanliness of all banquet equipment and service areas
Perform duties in other F&B outlets (Breakfast, Lounge Bar , Upper Deck Bar) during non-event hours.
QualificationsRequirements:
- Must be 21+ and able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs solo and up to 100 lbs with help
- Able to stand and move for 8–10 hour shifts
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction
