Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems within a precision manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
  
  
• Maintain and repair CNC machines, compressors, pumps, and other critical systems
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
  
  
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed
  
  
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime
  
  
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations
  
  
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  
  
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  
  
• Working knowledge of CNC equipment, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
  
  
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
