Gorman & Company is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper/Light Maintenance Technician to join our team at Crosswinds at Arista, a 159-unit LIHTC housing community. Your Impact:
As a Groundskeeper/Light Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go-to for keeping our property running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:
- Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance tasks, including lawn services, shrub and garden maintenance, insecticide spraying, and cleanup.
- Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, installing, and/or maintaining fences.
- Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in the supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground equipment.
- Complete corrective maintenance by completing service requests.
- Assist with unit preparation, including painting, cleaning, repairing, and/or replacing appliances, plumbing, and/or electrical fixtures.
- Emergency maintenance/On-Call when needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to work 20 hours per week.
- Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance experience required.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate lawn equipment.
- Must be able to read work orders/service requests.
- Good safety habits.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
