The Night Auditor's main responsibility is to audit and correct all daily revenue postings and payment transactions for the Cooper Hotel. The Night Auditor must also be able to perform all Front Desk Associate duties. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify room inventory, credit card authorizations, and wake up calls.
- Posts and resolves No Show revenue postings prior to the beginning of the audit.
- Initiates Night Audit process and verifies accuracy of all revenue postings.
- Balances and deposits daily credit card receipts.
- Prepares daily reports for Business Office Manager and General Manager.
- Distributes daily guest receipts for check out.
- Backs up electronically daily internet reservation information.
- Audits physically the Key Inventory Box to determine that all keys are present and accounted for.
- Sends electronically Stash reward reports and Daily Revenue Reports.
- Answers phones and provides excellent internal and external customer service.
- Responds positively to any walk-ins for information or assistance.
- Maintains a positive attitude and adheres to the Cooper purpose and core values.
- Follows all Cooper policies and standard operating procedures.
- Completes duties on site with consistent, regular, and reliable attendance.
- Accomplishes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and master other software.
- Superb interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a group setting as well as work independently.
- Can work without direct supervision and exhibit sound judgment.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hotel experience preferred, boutique hotel experience a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, push, and pull occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Able to type on a keyboard regularly.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and/or sitting at a desk.
