Event Planner/Assoc Lead

Description
This role is tasked to flawlessly execute events and hospitality to further rapport with customers plus manage the dealerships relationship and participation with industry associations.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Carry out customer events including open houses, trade shows, sponsorships, association conventions, golf tournaments and more. Spearhead company-hosted conferences
+ Collaborate with marketing strategists for trade show messaging, required items and postmortem debrief
+ Track attendance and spend for all customer events
+ In charge of event supplies such as tradeshow backdrops, tablecloths, tents, and coolers. This includes their design and ordering, maintenance and cleanliness plus their organization and usage tracking
+ Responsible for giveaways and prize drawings held as part of events which includes procuring prizes, assembling prize drawing materials then notifying, and distributing prizes to the winners
+ Primary point of contact for association events, training, conferences, directories, and membership renewals
+ Annual review of association activities and sponsorships to assess effectiveness and ROI of company's involvement to determine ongoing and future participation
+ Lead the creation and scheduling of association ads for their directories and online member profiles
+ Accountable for print advertising in industry trade publications. Duties include ad creation and placement as well as determining/adhering to ad schedule and submitting files
+ Respond to sponsorship and donation requests, obtain necessary materials, and process payment via check or credit card
+ Serve as a backup to marketing team members on an ad hoc basis, and help with other various marketing endeavors as needed
+ Performs all other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ 2 to 3 years of event planning experience
+ Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
+ Ability to build solid relationships and foster effective collaboration with suppliers, vendors, and agencies
+ Project management experience, strong organizational skills, detail oriented with a strict adherence to deadlines
+ Willingness to work outside of regular business hours including occasional weekends
+ Ability to perform physical tasks, such as loading and unloading event materials, organizing storage areas, and putting up tradeshow exhibits.
