Custodians

Riverview School is an independent coeducational boarding/day school, providing a caring community and learning environment for adolescents and young adults with complex language, learning and cognitive disabilities. We are seeking full time custodians to join our team.Main Function:Perform custodial/housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment for staff and students.Keep supplies stocked, and report promptly when supplies get low.Keep all work areas free and clear of debris.Perform miscellaneous related duties as required by the Director of FacilitiesEnsure compliance with all applicable safety standards.Identifies and corrects health and safety issues in a time efficient manner.Assists the Director of Facilities with special projects.Available nights and weekends when scheduled for events or emergenciesPerforms corrective action and preventive maintenance regarding custodial/housekeepingMaintain records of work performed including materials used; turns in received work orders daily; request materials needed according to established guidelines.Full time, immediate openingCandidate Requirements:All candidates must pass:Drug test, Physical, and suitable background check (CORI, SPRI, DCF and fingerprinting) required.Legal authorization to work in the USNo phone calls please.
