Performs preventive maintenance, routine repairs, inspections, testing and installation tasks on building, grounds, utilities, machinery and equipment.
Performs tasks in other building crafts, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting on an as needed basis.
Inspects, tests and troubleshoots machinery and equipment to buildings and utilities.
Records information.
Complies with all fire, safety, and infection control policies and procedures set forth by facility.
Reports all hazardous and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
High school or Vocational/Technical School graduate.
Minimum 3 years in building maintenance
General knowledge of hand tool, power tools and basic mechanics
Good Communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing.
Working knowledge of general mechanics and basic electricity.
Read and interpret blue prints, schematics and manufacturers specification highly desired.
