Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee is looking for an enthusiastic & motivated Lead Receptionist. The primary function of the Lead Receptionist at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery (NGBD) is to oversee the NGBD reception desk, working cross-functionally between all hospitality departments to meet the business's needs. This is a front-line position that supports Nelson's Green Brier's Mission and Vision by delivering world-class hospitality to all guests, both internal and external. This will be accomplished through an unwavering focus on hospitality, teamwork, communication, and passion from the reception desk and offices at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery. Responsibilities Lead reception team to deliver world class hospitality and create 5-Star experiences for Nelson's Green Brier Distillery guests, internal customers and within the trade in Nashville. This includes training new team members as well as giving feedback to supervisors on areas of improvement. Operate as the front-line of our world-class Hospitality Department by providing guests, partners and visitors with the most up-to-date, consistent and accurate information regarding our distillery location, offerings and operational details. Work with management to create and maintain a high level of consistent, accurate, and timely communication internally and information regarding guest reservations between all work groups. This includes maintaining and updating the reception SOPs. Ensure that the reception team operates at optimal functionality by taking accountability around all incoming communication including: Maintain and oversee the backend of our booking platform, Tock, to ensure smooth and efficient experiences. Including: building out schedule and floor plan for tour and restaurant reservations, managing discount codes, and working with Tock Support to fix any system errors. Phones - facilitate the answering of all incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, including forwarding to appropriate departments and individuals. Work with CBI Communications and IT team to ensure a welcome message and all directory information is up to date. Email - Manage the response and flow of NBGD reception distribution lists. (tours, info, etc.) Manage review sites like Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, and any other listings with distillery information listed. Responsible for compliance with CBI sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable, and environmentally sound. This is done by supporting programs at each location for conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling, which are critical for our operations to achieve tangible environmental results. Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member's safety. Performs other clerical duties as needed, including writing letters, filing, and photocopying. Minimum Qualifications Approximately 3-5 years hospitality and customer service background. Demonstrates the ability and desire to place the customer first. Ability to prioritize customer interactions in a positive and pleasant manner while providing a 5-star experience during peak days. Professional communication skills over the phone, via email, and face to face. Highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to follow through. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in teams. Desire to work in fast paced, high energy environment. Ability to maintain a multi-line, high volume phone, answering calls in a timely manner or returning voicemail in the same fashion. Have or obtain any certifications or permits required for handling or serving food and alcohol in Davidson County. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Desire for personal and professional growth. Preferred Qualifications 3 - 5 years FOH and BOH hospitality experience in food and beverage and/or lodging 3 - 5 years' experience with Shopify POS system, CRM and guest management software including Tock and TripleSeat Experience using Adobe InDesign preferred but not required.
