Part-Time Maintenance Worker ( Refuse/Transfer Station)

The City of Cedar Falls Operations and Maintenance Division has an opening for a year-round (up to 29 hrs/wk) Maintenance Worker with primary assignment to the Refuse Section but also utilized throughout the Division as needed. Typical hours will range from 7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri. and an occasional Saturday. This position includes a variety of general maintenance and construction duties including the operation of automated and semi-automated refuse collection, recycling, Transfer Station, street, and water reclamation equipment such as dump trucks, snowplows, end loaders, skid steer loaders, and other Public Works equipment for related duties.
