Key Responsibilities: Conduct ongoing training for new servers, focusing on menu knowledge, service standards, and safety protocols. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service throughout their dining experience Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a calm and effective manner, escalating to management when necessary. Monitor dining room activities, ensuring tables are set appropriately and service flows smoothly. Assist in expediting food during peak times to maintain timely service. Perform daily side work, including stocking and cleaning, to prepare for the next shift. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings. Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Take initiative in resolving challenges, involving management only when previous methods have been unsuccessful. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate important information to the team. Provide detailed shift reports to the next lead server or manager, ensuring continuity of operations. Assist with the setup and execution of special events, ensuring service standards are upheld. Fill in for absent staff as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Qualifications: Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail offerings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure
