The Role
We have an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Richmond. This role is responsible for interacting with customers (in person at reception, via phone, email, and internal systems) to generate positive encounters using a service-oriented approach. Act as the voice of the organisation, providing excellent service to customers in a timely manner. We look forward to working with someone who is passionate about providing a high quality of customer service, has excellent communication skills, and possess demonstrated experience dealing with difficult customers.
This role is on site in our Richmond Head Office Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm.
Key Responsibilities
Greet visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them appropriately
Operate the telephone switchboard to receive and forward calls
Ensure all calls are answered in accordance with company standards
Generate order or repair documentation and ensure it is matched with jobs prior to dispatch
Receive payments and issue receipts for services rendered
Calculate and provide price or rate quotations for products or services
File documentation and maintain accurate records
Create repair orders in line with company guidelines
Interpret spare parts requirements and prepare cost estimates
Handle watches in accordance with company handling standards
Provide indirect support with customer escalations
Adhere to OH&S policies and proactively report any concerns
Maintain high standards of professionalism, personal presentation, and customer service
Skills & Experience
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Accurate data entry skills
Excellent telephone etiquette
Problem solving skills
Excellent presentation
Decisive, firm, courteous, customer oriented
Proficient in basic computer knowledge & Microsoft Office
Experience with SAP/similar ERP system
Technical knowledge in the watch making industry advantageous
