Job DetailsWe All Gotta Eat! multi-unit, multi-concept restaurant group that operates Michelin Star recognized Sushi Noz and Noz 17, is opening Chez Fifi, a high style French Bistro on the UES this fall and we are looking for a sommelier to support both locations.
We are seeking a career minded sommelier with an appetite for knowledge & a high level of awareness to join us in creating a team-based, confident, gracious and professional dining atmosphere for our guests.
The right candidate must:
- Take pride in being part of a small team that works closely together to coordinate a superlative guest experience
- Work the floor during service with an emphaisis on fine wine, sake and beverage service with the ability to upsell.
- Must offer a high level of knowledge of all wine, sake, beer, spirits and teas.
- Must assist the Wine Director in ordering, inventory and storage.
- Must assist in beverage training for FOH staff.
- Must oversee maintenance/cleanliness and storage of all beverage serviceware.
- Additional additional duties may be added as deemed necessary by managment.
Prior experience with Japanese culinary traditions is always welcome, but not required. All applicants who fit the above description are welcome to apply.
This position pays $16.50 +/ hr. range + tips.
