Job DetailsWe're hiring a Ready-Made Foods Chef to prepare high-quality soups, entrees, proteins, and packaged meals for our scratch-cooked food business in Florence, South Carolina. This is a full-time, back-of-house role focused on consistent execution, not restaurant line service.
Youll be responsible for cooking and packaging fresh and frozen foods that are sold in our retail market and grab-and-go coolers. The work is steady, meaningful, and driven by real ingredients, not industrial shortcuts.
Our menu is well-established, with tested recipes and consistent workflows, but theres room for thoughtful input and collaboration. We welcome creative ideas, especially when they align with seasonal ingredients or help improve flavor, quality, or efficiency.

While our menu is stable, seasonal changes happen. You'll flex with ingredients and sometimes adjust execution.
Consistency matters. Youll be responsible for preparing foods that look and taste the same every time, batch after batch.

Youll follow recipes, scale batches, par-cook items, and prep for both fresh service and reheatable packaged foods.
Were always looking to improve. Youll receive guidance regularly and be expected to apply it with a growth mindset.
We reimagine familiar favorites using real food methods. That means turning commercial concepts into scratch versions, and designing dishes that reheat beautifully - because this isnt just leftovers in a box.
Though you wont interact with customers directly, your work goes straight to their plates. We expect care and pride in every item you produce.
Were always working to replace ultra-processed ingredients with real food alternatives wherever its cost-effective and sustainable. Team members are expected to support and uphold those standards in daily prep.
Our ready-made meals are displayed and sold directly to customers. Plating may happen in a box, but visual appeal still matters.
We encourage creative thinking, but the real job is executing well-established recipes reliably. Innovation is welcomed, but consistency is king.
