Tableside Presentation: Demonstrate finesse and professionalism when presenting and serving dishes to guests. Engage in tableside preparation of certain items, showcasing your culinary expertise and enhancing the overall dining experience. 6. Guest Engagement: Foster genuine connections with guests, anticipating their needs, and providing personalized attention. Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries, special requests, or concerns, ensuring utmost guest satisfaction. 7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with fellow servers, sommeliers, and the entire restaurant team to ensure smooth service flow and maintain a harmonious work environment. 8. Upselling Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities, promoting additional menu items, specialty dishes, and unique culinary experiences, thereby maximizing guest satisfaction and revenue generation. Requirements: 1. Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a server in a high-end, fine dining establishment, preferably with exposure to Michelin-starred restaurants. Demonstrated expertise in providing exceptional service and extensive knowledge of gourmet cuisine. 2. Wine and Beverage Expertise: Possess a comprehensive understanding of wine regions, varietals, and food pairing principles. A sommelier certification or similar qualification is highly desirable. 3. Fine Dining Etiquette: Exhibit a strong understanding of fine dining etiquette and formal service standards. Exemplify professionalism, grace, and poise in all interactions with guests. 4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with guests from diverse backgrounds. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. 5.
