Plans, coordinate and administers County programs and events, such as training for employees and supervisors, wellness initiatives, tuition assistance program, commercial drivers license (CDL) program, employee recognition programs, blood drives and United Way campaign. Coordinates training operations to include facilities, schedules, contract administration, equipment, and training aids.
Assists in the maintenance of the Human Resources budget; prepares purchase requisitions, requests for payment, and other related documents and tracks budget expenditures.
Performs other related work as required.
High school diploma or equivalent, and one or more years of experience in an office setting, preferably in Human Resources or a local government, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requires regular, and at times sustained, performance of physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, kneeling, leaping, jumping down, standing in place or continual walking, lifting and carrying of moderate to heavy items on a consistent basis in possible various weather conditions.
