We are a well established Woodinville Winery, with a fully in house culinary program to support our Tasting Room, Private Events, and Wine Club.
We are looking for somebody with 2+ years of prep and cooking experience to help our small but very talented kitchen team through the busy season.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
-Making pizzas and managing the pizza oven for Tasting Room service, Friday - Sunday.
-Assisting in all food prep
-Assisting our executive, sous, and pastry chef in daytime and nighttime private party execution
Qualities we are looking for:
-Efficient and hardworking, able to stand on feet for 10+ hours on some days
-Respectful of staff, able to take direction from supervisors
-Available Tuesday-Sunday, flexible schedule. Because our private events business depends on customer demand, hours do vary. We try to provide Mondays and Tuesdays off for our culinary team, but schedules do vary. Friday-Sunday are mandatory. Due to high demand and a busy workload during the summer, applicants should expect to work 50-60 hours on some weeks. Staff received 1.5x pay for all hours exceeding 40 hours in any given week.
We are offering $21-$23 per hour depending on experience. Line cook will be included in Tasting Room and Private Events tip pools, which typically amounts to $2+ per hour. Full time employees receive full health benefits, 2 weeks paid time accumulated throughout the year, and we match up to 2% of pay through our IRA plan.
