Job Title: Catering Event Server (1099 Contractor)
Compensation: $35/hour
Location: San Francisco & Oakland Areas
Schedule: 23 events per month

JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking experienced hospitality professionals to join our team as Catering Event Servers on a contract (1099) basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service in dynamic, fast-paced event environments.

As an Event Server, youll be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, providing attentive food and beverage service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring guests have a warm, welcoming experience throughout the event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Set up and break down event spaces in accordance with floor plans and service standards
-- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attention to detail
-- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas
-- Provide friendly, guest-focused service and anticipate guest needs
-- Communicate effectively with team members and event leads
-- Adapt quickly to on-site changes or needs during events

QUALIFICATIONS:
-- Previous experience as an event server or restaurant server required
-- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-- Professional appearance and demeanor
-- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
-- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
-- Ability to think quickly, multitask, and stay organized under pressure

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
-- This is a 1099 independent contractor position
-- Events are scheduled 23 times per month, primarily in the San Francisco and Oakland areas
-- Flexible scheduling; ideal for those with freelance or part-time availability
