The Frenchette Group is opening a new concept inside of the Historic Cherry Lane Theater. We are looking for an experienced bartender to help us build the foundation of our cocktail program.
Frenchette Group includes Frenchette, Frenchette Bakery, Le Rock, Frenchette Bakery at the Whitney, Le Veau d'Or. After years working together at New York mainstays, chefs Hanson and Nasr have established a unique mark on New York Citys restaurant scene creating buzzworthy restaurants that are founded in collaboration, professionalism, and innovation. Their attention to detail and commitment to employee growth has created a company culture that is welcomed and necessary.
An ideal Head Bartender is someone who has experience:
- developing a bar program (creating a cocktail list and curating a spirits list)
- establishing SOPs for the bar team to follow
- training new staff as they join the team
- expanding the teams beverage education with new and interesting inventory
Additional Responsibilities include:
- available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- attending to guests and ensuring their service is prioritized, thoughtful and well executed
- multitasking and running fast paced service bar
- attention to detail in all tasks
- maintaining a clean workspace upholding health and safety standards
- being knowledgeable of all food, beverage, and restaurant information
We are looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate about hospitality and about the bar and restaurant industry. Being an opening, this role will call for a candidate who is able to work through challenges and create solutions. The right fit should be excited about building a team and bringing a new program to life.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00) plus tips
