Lakin Hospital is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Building Maintenance Technician in this essential role will support our mission by providing a safe and well-maintained environment for our wonderful residents and staff. This position is responsible for maintaining the hospitals physical structure, grounds, equipment, and systems. Under general supervision, performs preventative maintenance, general maintenance, grounds work (mowing, trimming, snow removal, removal of wood debris/trash), masonry, plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting, painting, moving furniture, carpentry/repair, and all other related duties. Work assignments generally require skill and knowledge of maintenance and repair methods and practices in a variety of trades as well as related occupational hazards and safety procedures. Electrical and maintenance experience within a health care facility preferred . Performs related duties as required.

Experience:
Two (2) years of full time or equivalent part-time experience in performing maintenance and repair work in one or more building maintenance trades (e.g., electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting).
