Host/Hostess

We are seeking a polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. As the face of our restaurant, you will set the tone for the dining experience by providing a warm and gracious welcome, ensuring efficient seating, and maintaining a smooth flow of operations. Proficiency with OpenTable and a commitment to exceptional guest service are essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Manage reservations using OpenTable, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations accurately.

- Organize and oversee the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover while accommodating guest preferences and special requests.

- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to optimize table availability and dining flow.

- Handle guest inquiries, provide accurate information about the menu and services, and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and dining room.

- Assist with managing the waitlist during peak times, providing accurate wait times and keeping guests informed.

- Foster a welcoming environment that reflects the restaurant's commitment to hospitality and excellence.

**Qualifications:**

Prior experience as a host/hostess in an upscale or fine dining environment preferred.

Proficiency with OpenTable or similar reservation management systems.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
