Job Description
As a key member of the resort operations team the Houseperson I is responsible for preparing the rooms/units for cleaning, assisting with inspection of rooms/units after the housekeeping and maintenance staff has cleaned the room. Also maintaining resort quality standards.
As a Houseperson I, your responsibilities will include:
- Stocking housekeeping carts with appropriate supplies and delivering them to housekeeping staff as directed by management.
- Delivering buckets containing clean linens and supplies to housekeeping staff, and retrieving them once the unit is completed.
- Collecting and disposing of trash and soiled linens from guest units.
- Preparing, stocking, cleaning, and performing light maintenance on unit spaces and amenities, including patios, patio furniture, and BBQ areas.
- Assisting housekeeping staff as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time management and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the resort's operational needs.
- Valid driver's license.
