Salary Range: $16-$20

Position Overview:

As a Customer Service Specialist at Coronis Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients and insurance representatives calling with questions regarding invoices, outstanding balances, insurance details, or other account-related matters. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience through timely, accurate, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls from patients, insurance companies, and healthcare representatives regarding billing inquiries.
  • Assist patients in understanding their statements and resolving outstanding balance concerns.
  • Accurately enter and verify insurance information provided during calls.
  • Process patient payments via credit card and ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Document and escalate unresolved or complex issues to the Call Center Supervisor.
  • Respond to voicemails and emails in a timely, professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and empathy during all interactions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to de-escalate concerns and remain calm under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable using multiple systems and navigating billing/insurance tools.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of customer service or call center experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or billing environment.
