Companionship, light housekeeping, errands for senior

un Companionship, light housekeeping, errands for senior (Chicopee) 929 Memorial Drive compensation: $22/hr to include local mileage, plus mileage costs for any non local driving Looking to hire help for my 87 old mother who has Alzheimer's. Most weeks one or two visits, about 2 hours each, between Thursdays-Sundays, between 1-4pm. Occasionally a little more if she has an appointment or you do an outing. She lives in an assisted living facility so doesn't need medical care but uses a walker and needs occasional rides to doctors' appointments or out for ice cream :) , someone to run an errand, light housekeeping (like dusting, organizing, and throwing things out), and companionship/conversation. Sometimes if she's in a hospital or rehab in Springfield it would be great if she could be visited there instead but usually Chicopee. Prefer someone who can drive her places occasionally but will consider those who only want to visit. She's a very smart and interesting person who is well educated, was a nurse, got a doctorate, got sober, loves reading including the bible and Harry Potter. :) Also loves children, dogs, flowers, rain. Can be delightful and sometimes irritable and confused nowadays. Must be a non smoker, have excellent references (not necessarily from a similar job although that's a plus), have a clean driving record, enjoy conversation and be warm and patient.
