START NOW with BIC as a Janitorial/Porter Warehouse Housekeeper! The Warehouse Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized facility. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping floors, removing debris, picking up spills, properly disposing of waste, and keeping storage areas tidy while focusing on safety by preventing trip hazards and potential accidents due to clutter. Schedule 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00AM - 3:00PM Pay Rate: $17.13/hour Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain the exterior of the building, including walkways, parking lots, loading docks, and outdoor storage areas. Perform general cleaning duties inside the warehouse including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Will operate a floor sweeper (training provided). Dispose of waste and recycling materials in compliance with company policies and procedures. Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly. Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support warehouse operations, including cleaning and organizing as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Good communication skills. Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
