**Position: Food Service Assistant -- Lynden Middle School**

**Work Year:** 2025-26 school year; 181 days; continuing position

**Hours:** 2.75 hours per day; 9:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

**Starting Date:** August 26, 2025

**Salary:** Per negotiated SEIU contract. The 24/25 Salary Range is $21.33- $26.99; dependent upon previous school district food service assistant experience.

**Benefits:** This position does not qualify for healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, or vacation benefits. Employee qualifies for up to 12 days of sick leave, and up to three (3) days of personal leave per school year. (Days of sick leave and personal leave are prorated based on employee start date.)

**Affiliation:** This is an SEIU represented position -- internal candidates with Lynden School District SEIU food service seniority have priority.
