Requirements:

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong sense of professionalism
• A valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Must be available to work varied hours/days and holidays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check & pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Medical Receptionist Job Duties:

• Handles member calls and effectively manages schedule
• Handles all permanent and schedule changes for all direct care aides
• Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the practice.
• Run weekly insurances to make sure all members are active
• Handle calls regarding member concerns and/or questions
• Handles all calls for direct care aides in regards to concerns and/or questions
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as directed by management
• Protect member rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures along with reporting necessary changes
• Make sure direct care aides are being time managed properly
• Handle receiving on the job injury reports and reporting the information to the appropriate staff
