Cafeteria Worker

Responsibilities of a Cafeteria Worker

Motivated for success and ability to take initiative in a small, busy operation

Must have previous experience in a fast-paced team environment

• Setting up, cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing workstation
• Prepare meals and follow established recipes
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, sanitation, and procedures
• Prepping for shift
• Preparing orders in a timely manner
• Cooking orders according to food health and safety standards
• Handling multiple food orders at one time
• Monitoring multiple orders as new orders arrive
• Storing all food properly
• Cook, Clean assist other cooks and staff in daily operations.
• Work will include operating a grill, oven & fryer.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to be on feet all day
• Serv-Safe Certified preferred

Requirements of a Cafeteria Worker

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some culinary training
• Organized
• Good communication skills
