We believe that nutrition plays a vital role in recovery, and we are looking for a skilled and compassionate Food Service Worker to join our team. Job Description As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing inventory, and ensuring that our clients have access to nutritious and appetizing food. Responsibilities Prepare lunch, dinner, and all snacks for our clients and staff at the SeaView Recovery Center. Manage inventory of food and supplies, ensuring all items are stocked and fresh. Prep breakfast and meals for the weekend, to be reheated and served. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.. Collaborate with the center's team to meet the dietary needs of our clients. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Compensation The rate of pay is between $18-20 per hour, depending on experience. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a food service role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation, inventory management, and kitchen safety. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client service. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, CPR and First Aid certification. Must be at least 18 years old. TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, criminal background check.
