- Preparing and Baking Products:Creating doughs and batters for various French breads (e.g., baguettes, brioche) and pastries, such as croissants, according to traditional recipes.
- Recipe Management:Understanding and executing established recipes.
- Quality Control:Ensuring products meet established standards for freshness and quality.
- Inventory Management:Ordering and monitoring supplies, as well as keeping detailed records related to production and inventory.
- Hygiene and Sanitation:Maintaining clean and organized workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Production Scheduling:Creating schedules with management to determine the types and quantities of goods to produce.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance:Being familiar with and maintaining professional baking equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Kitchen experience, preferable in a bakery
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take direction
- Strong time management, the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Currently hold a Food Handler's Certificate
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend Availability REQUIRED
- Ability to lift 40-65 pounds throughout the day
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Weekend Availability (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
