Laundry Worker, Maple Knoll Village

Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community is seeking a fulltime Laundry Worker to add to our housekeeping and laundry team!! The hours for this position are 6a-2p. You will be required to work every other weekend, and every other holiday. The pay range for this position is $15.00- $18.00 per hour. Pay is based off prior laundry experience; at least one year of skilled nursing home or hospital setting is required. The Laundry Worker will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linen into the washer(s) and loading clean linens into the dryer(s), folding clean linens, counting and recording the linen processed each day, making proper deliveries to units in the skilled facility. The Laundry Worker will: Be knowledgeable with industrial equipment (washer) Be able to perform routine, and repetitive tasks continuously Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds; Complete assigned tasks according to the schedule in a timely manner Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions Ensure all laundry equipment is maintained and operated correctly, any deficiency needs to be reported to supervisor Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Physical stamina to handle repetitive such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service Benefits: Benefits will begin after 30 days of employment!
