The cocktail server provides continuous quality entertainment and is responsible for taking orders and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Ensure the overall cleanliness of tables and side stations. Perform stocking and inventory as needed. Follow food and beverage standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

- Radiates a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with guests.

- Relays alcoholic drink orders and/or special requests to bartender.

- Prepares non-alcoholic drinks for guests. May pour/make certain alcoholic beverages as permitted by company policies.

- Responds guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

- Frequently checks on table to offer additional cocktail service.

- Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers.

- Accurately accounts for all sales, discounts and promotions in computerized cash register according to company cash handling procedures.

- Clean and stock assigned station in service area.

- Maintains cleanliness of gaming floor including but not limited to replacing ashtrays.

- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

- Must follow all safety rules and regulations.

- Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Must be 21 years of age.

- Food/beverage service experience with general knowledge of drinks preferred.

- Cash handling experience preferred.

- Proficient of alcoholic suggestive selling.

- Customer service oriented, knowledge of proper serving, and table-clearing techniques, patient and quick-paced.

- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.

- Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.

- Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.

- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.

- Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.

- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

- Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.

- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
