The ECC is recruiting positive and enthusiastic people from all backgrounds and levels of experience to deliver quality customer service to our members and guests. Applicants should have evening availability for weekday and weekend shifts.

The Eagan Community Center is open from 6am 9pm Monday through Friday, 7am-8pm Saturday & Sunday.

In this job you will:

  • Greet members and guests, providing information about the facility and events
  • Process and update fitness memberships
  • Set up and take down of tables and chairs for meetings and special events
  • Audio/Visual support and beverage service for facility rentals
  • Provide tours of the facility, pricing, and rental availability to potential renters
  • Answer questions and provide information on a variety of building and city functions
  • Work with all abilities and ages in a fun and safe environment
  • Work alone and as part of a team
  • Follow work direction and keep supervisor informed of any concerns
  • Collect payments and registrations for services and events
  • Other duties as assigned

What is needed to apply for this job?

  • Job seekers should be age 16 or older
  • Customer service experience
  • Evening and weekend availability
  • Ability to lift/move 50 pounds

  • One (1) or more years of work or volunteer experience working with the public or children. Examples could include babysitting, caring for a sibling, volunteer, youth sports coach, lawn service work, etc.
  • Participated in activities, sports, clubs, or other groups
  • Availability to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to display courtesy, patience, and friendliness
