Location: Iowa City, IA Rate: $19.00/HR Available Schedule: Fri & Sat: 9PM - 5:3AM Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Receptionist Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control, and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Receptionist Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. The Receptionist Officer is a customer service driven position. If you have receptionist, hospitality, or retail industry background, you are a great fit for this role. What Your Day May Look Like: Conflict resolution and De-escalation. Frequent interactions with client employees and guests. Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions. Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity. Provide detailed written witness reports. Answering phones. Answering basic questions. Providing directions. Position Requirements: 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED Required. Standard computer / technology skills needed. Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
