Monday 2pm-9pm
Thursday 2pm-9pm
Friday 2pm-10pm
Saturday 10am-2pm, 2pm-10pm
Sunday 9am-2pm, 2pm-8pm
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient preparation of high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. **Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
- Assist in catering events, preparing large quantities of food as required.
- Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
**Requirements**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen.
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
