+ Developing and updating pastry recipes to enhance menu offerings and meet customer preferences.
+ Supervising and training junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of pastry preparation and presentation.
+ Managing inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
+ Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
+ Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
+ Creating visually appealing dessert displays for special events and occasions to attract customers
+ Monitoring and adjusting baking processes to achieve optimal texture and flavor in all pastry items.
+ Meeting sales targets by developing seasonal and promotional pastry items that drive customer interest.
+ Experimenting with new techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations to innovate and improve pastry offerings.
+ Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
