- Perform all required electrical/mechanical troubleshooting on company equipment, obtain necessary replacement parts, and perform required repairs.
- Repair and/or replace broken equipment to include but not limited to motors, belts, chains, bearings, hydraulic units, blades, dies, electrical components, etc. as breakdowns occur.
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce and eliminate breakdowns by executing tasks such as machine lubrication, oil changes, filter changes, hoses, bearings, etc. as specified in the established PM schedule.
- Perform machine removal and installations as directed by the company.
- Perform facility maintenance to building/grounds as required to include doors, lights, cranes, openers, switches, air lines, etc.
- Works with vendors and corporate maintenance personnel on repairs and PM requirements.
- Ability to weld for in-house fabrication projects a plus.
- High focus on safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- Ability to use standard hand tools (tape, wrenches, screw drivers, etc.) and electrical tools (volt meter, grinders, drills, screw guns, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude
- High focus on safety
- No personal tools required.
- Ability to work off shift hours on occasion and be available for overtime as needed.
