- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Mornings desired: 6:00a-2:30p (but will flex if needed)
- Weekends on rotation
- Holidays on rotation
- Free meal with every shift
- Cooking experience at a restaurant or similar is required
- High School diploma/GED preferred. Culinary Certification or education in a related field preferred.
- At least one year of cooking experience in food service.
- Knowledge of food safety and cooking techniques required. Cost control and inventory experience preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain professional composure in high pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Able to work in a latex burdened environment.
- Able to lift cases of groceries and containers of food that could weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time with extensive bending and reaching.
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly.
- Able to utilize telephone for communication.
- Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and prepare documents and labels, and give appropriate portion control.
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
