Salento is a community-focused cafe. It aims to be a place to share flavors from Colombia through seasonal menus with delicious yet nutritious food, paired with exceptional coffee and of course our exceptionally caring service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Greets customers and takes orders; processes cash and credit card transactions.
* Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and the customers requests.
* Serving prepared foods & pastries.
* Delivers customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency.
* Ability to multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
* Maintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
* Communicates effectively with a store manager regarding store, employee and customer needs.
* Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
* Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
* Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
* Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge needed:
* Passionate about Coffee
* Must have 2-years Previous experience as a barista or in a related position
* Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Bilingual (ENGLISH & SPANISH) Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Available to work flexible hours including: Early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/ or holidays.
* Passionate about Coffee
* A passion for hospitality and guest service
* An outgoing and energetic disposition
* Proficiency with various POS's is Preferred
